WHAT'S BEEN SETTING YOUR POINTS?
You can work hard, set goals and keep moving forward — and still find yourself repeating the same patterns or arriving somewhere you never consciously chose.
Because sometimes it isn't a lack of effort that's determining the direction.
Experiences from our past can acquire meaning. That meaning can become a belief. And over time, those beliefs can quietly influence what we fear, what we avoid, the choices we make — and ultimately where we end up.
Like railway points, something relatively small can change the direction of an entire journey.
A few inches at the points can change the destination of an entire train.
Sometimes understanding the direction of our lives means looking at what has been directing us.
For much of my life, I believed that if I worked hard enough, achieved enough and kept moving forward, I would eventually become the person I felt I needed to be.
I earned two degrees in psychology, built businesses, started again after devastating setbacks and rebuilt my life more than once.
But it wasn't until I looked back at the patterns running through my own life that I recognised something I hadn't seen before.
Some of my biggest decisions hadn't simply been about where I wanted to go. They had been influenced by an old story about who I believed I was — and, over the years, experiences had become “evidence” that appeared to prove that story true.
That discovery changed the way I understood my own journey.
Today, as an author, transformational speaker and Second Chance Ambassador, I combine psychological insight with lived experience and storytelling to help others shine a light on the hidden forces that may be influencing their own direction.
Because it's never too late to move the points and choose a different track.

The Re-Orient Express
Sometimes changing direction begins by understanding the journey that brought you here.
The Re-Orient Express takes the railway metaphor beyond the stage and into a personal journey of reflection and discovery.
Through stories, psychological insight and practical exercises, it helps readers explore the beliefs and patterns that may have been quietly influencing their direction — and begin making more conscious choices about where they want to go next.
Because it’s never too late to move the points and choose a different destination.
